She moved to the UK in 2011 with a grant to a referral exotic practice and ended up staying in the UK where she gained her clinical and surgical skills undertaking an internship. She has also participated in veterinary welfare programs abroad.
She has worked in practices across Yorkshire and the Midlands as a general practitioner with a special interest in internal medicine. She acquired a postgraduate certificate through the European School of Veterinary Postgraduate Studies (ESVPS) in Small Animal Medicine (GPCertSAM) in 2014.
Following taking time out on maternity leave she is back offering locum services in the Midlands area while focussing on growing the veterinary parasitology laboratory.
Outside of work she is a proud mother of a human puppy, Chuchi a Beagle cross, Chiara the Westie and Syra a rehomed border collie. She enjoys cooking and going to the cinema.
